The Song For The Guardians Of Freedom

by Cosmic Vision

/

about

Exactly one year after the debut album "One Love To Last" dropped, it's time to shorten the wait for the second LP - in a folk-ish manner.
This new song continues the story from the previous album and was never meant to be metal or so.
...but the next one will surely be.
Enjoy!

The Song For The Guardians Of Freedom was recorded, mixed and mastered in november and december of 2021.

lyrics

World's ache from the crumbling sky
Hailing to the dead
Heavy hearts, lift your weight
For another day
Let the sorrow take you home
Let the sorrow take you home

Man's joy from flourishing soil
Telling tales of life
And laying there in the moss
Eyes are shining bright
'Til your sun turns cold and frail
'Til your sun turns cold and frail

Endless grief has befallen the land under the stars
As eternal sleep welcomes all our sore hearts
Give in to the longing for the losses we share
And off to our loved ones we sail

Rivulets from the mountainsides
Carry us away
Through the waters of our ancestors
Out to the sea

Endless grief has befallen the land under the stars
As eternal sleep welcomes all our sore hearts
Give in to the longing for the losses we share
And off to our loved ones we sail
